XBOX Xecuter 2 Switch Bank Location
mmmonkey has chipped a couple of XBOX consoles with Xecuter 2 chips, these have an external switch bank to enable/disable the chip amongst other things. mmmonkey isn't going to cover how to chip an XBOX, it's already covered in great details at xbox-scene and Team Xecuter.
Most people follow the guides and mount the switch on the front of the console, this is perfect if you need to disable the chip a lot, however, if you don't need to keep disable the chip all the time, then mounting the switches around the back of the console may be a better alternative.
The advantage of this is it protects the switch bank, the disadvantage is only apparent if you need to disable the chip frequently (if you use Live at all).
mmmonkey always uses the Pin Header install method, and whilst the motherboard is out of the case, route the wires for the switches through the hole in the case for the network socket. Then when putting the motherboard back in, be careful not to trap the wires.
