Console Modifications
mmmonkey is not a technical genius! But isn't too bad at soldering and following the different guides elsewhere on the internet. It is hoped that the guides published here are easy to understand and follow for anyone with a little bit of knowledge and soldering skill.
With the exception of a couple, I have performed all of the guides above and they are confirmed as working, credit is given in each guide to the source's used, all photo's and diagrams are by mmmonkey unless specified. mmmonkey has spent a lot of time putting this site together, you are welcome to use information from these guides on your own website if you give credit to mmmonkey, but please don't just steal all of the information and claim it is your own.
If you've written a guide that you want to see included here, then get in touch and I may post your infomation.
All modifications are carried out at your own risk, mmmonkey cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur to your console/TV/house/marriage etc, if in any doubt, then contact mmmonkey, get an experienced person to perform the modification for you or join one of the forums on our links page and seek help. Always work safely, make sure you use appropriate anti-static precautions and always read all the way through a guide and fully understand it before you attempt it. Only perform one mod at a time, it's easier to troubleshoot a problem if you haven't performed lots of modifications all at the same time.
